Adults can ACHIEVE IT!
An Open House for Undergraduate Adults at Fairleigh Dickinson
Teaneck, NJ (July 17, 2007, 2007) Adults who are considering finishing their bachelor's degree or starting that degree are invited to a special Undergraduate Open House for Adults at Fairleigh Dickinson University on Tuesday, August 7 from 6-8 p.m.
An important feature of the Open House will be specialized small-group sessions targeted to the student's interests. There is a session for business, nursing, education, psychology, humanities, individualized or interdisciplinary studies, computer science and engineering and natural sciences. The first break out session runs from 6:40-7:10 p.m. and repeats at 7:20 p.m.
Counselors will be available to process instant admission applications and answer questions on scheduling, financial aid and career options.
Anita Rivers, FDU's director of adult and part-time admissions, said, "We want to have an evening just for adults as they have special concerns of juggling family, work and class schedules. This is an efficient way for them to learn about the many possibilities that make the undergraduate degree at FDU a real possibility."
The Adult Open House begins with pre-registration at 5:30 in Dickinson Hall. There is an opportunity to tour the new Cyber Crime Lab and the Hospitality Suite. Dickinson Hall is located on University Plaza Drive on the Hackensack side of FDU's Bergen County campus. It is close to Route 4 and directly off Hackensack Avenue South.
