Watch FDU Student Films on the Big Screen in Morristown
MADISON, N.J. (April 23, 2012)—Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Visual and performing Arts Program invites the public to the “2012 Senior Thesis Film Festival” to see the culmination of four years of study and work by FDU’s film and animation students. Several short narrative fiction films will be screened at the festival at Clearview Headquarters Ten Cinemas in Morristown, NJ on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, starting at 6 p.m.
The films, which are required for graduation from the program, range from 10-45 minutes. A tremendous variety of films will be screened. The films include: “Barrel,” “Kyle O’Connor and the Adventures of the Paranormal Society,” “The Thirdening,” “Spilled Coffee,” “Finding Dave,” “Nyl,” “The Composer,” “Documentary Trailer,” “The Raven’s Writing Desk,” “Goose Family,” “The Assassin: The Origin of Curtis Duvall,” “Delirium,” “Gumball,” “She Came From God,” and “The Brother’s Mathius.”
One of film that will be featured is, “Blue Sheep Suit,” which is about a burned out news reporter who attempts to get a story on the frontrunner for presidency. This was a collective project that was partially funded through the online crowd-sourcing website IndieGoGo, and brought together the many talents of FDU students, alumni, and other outside professionals.The event is open to the public and the $5 admission supports the FDU film program in the Visual and Performing Arts Department.
