Financial Analysis, Financial Markets and Instruments & Mergers and Acquisitions; Have taught Corporate Financial Theory & Policy, Money & Banking, Microeconomics, and Macroeconomics.

Dr. Gaughan also does consulting work for Economatrix Research Associates, Inc. Economatrix is a consulting firm which conducts economic and financial analyses for litigation support and for pure research. These services include valuation of damages in litigation, including commercial litigation, such as loss profits analysis in business interruption, antitrust and intellectual property lawsuits, personal litigation, such as lost earnings in personal injury cases, as well as other valuation services, such as the analysis of economic effects of punitive damages and the valuation of businesses.  Dr. Gaughan serves as an economic expert on damages for large clients that include; corporations such as Allstate Insurance, Ford Motor Company, General Electric, Exxon-Mobil, New Jersey Transit, Phillip Morris, General Motors, Airbus, AIG, Zurich Insurance, Wyeth; and for the law firms of Arnold & Porter, Day Pitney, Shook, Hardy & Bacon, McCarter & English, Millbank Tweed, Gibbons, Dechert, Dickstein Shapiro, Reed Smith, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, and Baker Hostetler. www.economatrix.com                                                                            www.drgaughan.com
