In the residence hall competition (pounds per person), Park Avenue won for highest combined recyclables (8.59 lbs), Rutherford for highest bottles and cans (5.7 lbs), and Florence Twombly for highest mixed paper (3.4 lbs). The campus is urged to continue recycling and if anyone needs recycling picked up and has questions or concerns, contact Ted Ambrosiano, manager, buildings/grounds (Flor), at 973-443-8926 or e-mail greenclubfdu@gmail.com. • The Fourth Annual Charity Softball Game to benefit The Tomorrows Children’s Fund will take place on Friday, May 4, 5–9 p.m., at the Softball Field, Metropolitan Campus. The staff from Target of Hackensack has agreed to challenge the FDU team again. Sponsor fee for a team is $50. The event will include a 50/50 raffle, tricky tray raffles, home-run derby, music by WFAN radio station and a children’s craft table. For information call 201-692-2424 or e-mail vaccaro@fdu.edu . Admission is free. • The Disney Institute’s “Keys to Excellence” program will run for a full day on the Metropolitan Campus on Wednesday, May 23. The Disney model is recognized as one of the most successful leadership, management, loyalty and customer service programs practiced throughout the world.
