Jon Wexler, FDU’s VP of enrollment management (at far right), helped ring the NASDAQ stock market closing bell on August 20, 2012 with the National Society of High School Scholars in Times Square, New York City.
NASDAQ is the largest exchange company in the world, with trading, technology, and public company service capabilities that reach across six continents. With approximately 3,200 companies, it has more trading volume per day than any other stock exchange in the world. The NASDAQ MarketSite facility is located in Times Square in the Condé Nast Building. The exterior wall of its seven story cylindrical tower is a LED electronic video display that provides market quotes, financial news, and advertisements.
